So many choices out there for camber arms, Need to adjust the camber on my front end badly....

So far I have ruled out Godspeed as I don't trust their products at all.

SPC has always been great in the past and husband gets a pretty good deal through them.

read an old thread that suggested the Kentix arms were weak and bent on people, is this still the case, their site lists their Arms as "new" ? maybe they redesigned them?

Megan arms seem to only add negative camber.

Stillen are a little more than I want to spend....

any recommendations. Need to add a bit more positive camber or stock up on tires....

Kinetix FTW, thats what we install on 90% of cars in the shop (including my own) the old design had an issue where it could easily be installed upside down, which caused the bending your referring to, when installed properly we never saw that issue but with the new design they are even stronger and harder to mis-install. We also have a lot of customers running SPC, but I believe you will get more positive adjustability with the Kinetix.

 

I really dont have a preference just checking if you have any deals i got a quote today for some tokito blues for 350.00 i wanna know if you cant beat it

All for it if it dont serve a purpose but i can honestly say this car needs downforce!

 

BTW Rob have you held the SPL camber kits next to the other companies? Any thoughts as to which is lightest? I know unsprung weight makes a HUGE difference in the characteristics of a car so i was curious for when i get coils which company to go with.

I've never thought to, Let me see if I can round up the different sets and ill throw them on the scale.

Speaking of unsprung weight and coils, have you ever held coils vs a spring/shock setup? I''ve never actually weighed them (I really should) but they seem ALOT heavier. I think BC/Stance have a shipping weight of like 80lbs

 

Wow that is a HUGE amount of weight i think its something like 5lbs of unsprung weight remove is equivalent to 20hp?

 

+1 I have the SPC in the rear as well as the toe bolts.

I had Dan's old Kinetix front A-arms but never installed them.

 

i never had to used any kind of camber arms on my g and it lowered on stechs and my struts are blown

 

lol thats exactly why i dont want springs and shocks
