To maintian all functionality of cruise, traction control etc you will need a MT engine harness, all the sensors are different, it would *probably* run, but lose several features. "Rev-match downshifting" will work perfectly via the heel-toe method

What kind?
Kinetix FTW, thats what we install on 90% of cars in the shop (including my own) the old design had an issue where it could easily be installed upside down, which caused the bending your referring to, when installed properly we never saw that issue but with the new design they are even stronger and harder to mis-install. We also have a lot of customers running SPC, but I believe you will get more positive adjustability with the Kinetix.
