SFLG35,

I may want to take you up on that offer as well, if I can get it done while I am there. Also, I read on the website of a current development of a Navigation by-pass control....is this near completion?

Thanks

Jason

So... additional raffle tickets can be purchased for $11 each. (One dollar to cover the paypal transaction ) The only rule would be that the money would have to be sent into the club account (via paypal) PRIOR to March 1st, 2005. Again, you do not have to own a G35 to be a club member, nor do you have to own a G35 to participate in the raffle, so Finiti35 can win some of the cool prizes and install it on her car once she gets it (from Lokey of course ). Please remember to include a message in the paypal transaction stating that the money is intended for "extra raffle tickets" and send me a PM to be sure I record the paypal deposit correctly.

Remember this club is not for profit, so all of the money that comes into the club will be paid out to hold future events.
is there no way to allow ticket purchases at the meet?? you can make the deposit later right?? we should also consider placing a cap on the number of tickets per membership

also...i know u said memberships needed to be paid before the meet to be eligable to get a shirt and what not....but i dont think u considered the possible new members we might get from customers at lokey that day. We should allow them to join, right?? are we just sayin they become a member on the 6th and therefore arent in the raffle and cant get a shirt?? would it be possible to buy a couple/few extra shirts for them (large seems to be the standard size)
i guess we can talk about it Saturday and make a detailed post Sunday because although u have done a marvilous job i think there are a few things no one has considered and we need to figure a way to accomidate those situations (if possible)

Wes,

1. Club members can purchase additional raffle tickets at the event. (They will still cost $11 each) and there will be no maximum number of tickets a club member can buy. Every Paying Club Member in attendance will get one raffle ticket as a part of their club membership. Club members MUST be present at the raffle to win. If MR. FLFIRE brings MRS. FLFIRE and MRS. FLFIRE wins a prize, she can give it to MR. FLFIRE.

2. Beginning MARCH 1st the club membership is going to increase. Initially I wasn't going to say anything, however in order to run a PROFESSIONAL and LEGAL club our club financial commitments will be in the $4,000/year range. This includes becoming a legitimate company, having proper insurances set up, etc... By doing this we'll be able to have better sponsorship opportunities, better club events (like driving events), a club bank account and we'll be able to acquire CLUB OFFICERS like VP, Treasurer, Secretary, etc... (believe me, running a club is WAY TOO MUCH WORK for one person with a family and a full time job to manage on their own). The club membership fee for all new CHARTER MEMBERS will remain $25 up through February 28, 2005 that's why I've been pushing for people to join the club soon.

3. Club T-Shirts will be on sale at the Lokey Meet for anyone (including non-club members) for $20 each. This means that if you hurry and join the club you can get a club T-Shirt for $20 and a 1 year CHARTER CLUB MEMBERSHIP for an additional $5!

4. You MUST join the club by January 31st to be guaranteed a T-Shirt at the event. On February 1st (my b-day ) I will be placing the T-Shirt order. I will have to order a minimum number of T-Shirts (somewhere around 36). I will get various sizes, a couple of small and medium shirts, a majority of large T-Shirts and some XL ones as well. If 8 people show up to the event and need small T-Shirts, I may not have enough of them to go around! If more members join the club after February 1st, I may not have enough T-Shirts for all paying club members because I might not order enough. This is why I've PM'd the hardcore local guys, the new people and everyone else that I can think of and have been encouraging them to join up. I just don't want anyone to be left out or feel slighted in any way.

5. I would really consider it an honor for all CHARTER MEMBERS of the FLORIDA G35 CLUB to update their signatures to say "Charter Member, Florida G35 Club" and have a link to the club website attached to the words Florida G35 Club. It would look like this...

Charter Member
Florida G35 Club

This would help the club to get more recognition in the body of threads outside of the SE Forum and it would help to show the NY G SQUAD that we are a force to be reckoned with!

If you have any questions about the above post, please send me a PM and I'll respond back ASAP.

Can I put the link in my sig too, just leaving out the "charter member" part? I'm very proud of what we've done so far and especially Neff and yes, I'm intentionally not joining but I will do so within the next month to secure my T-shirt (Neff knows what my story is, if that can be a valid excuse... )

escobar: the vdc memory mod gives the car a memory of what state the vdc was in before it was turned off. when the car is first turned on the vdc is on and you have to turn it off. when the car is then turned off and turned back on the vdc goes back to being on. with the mod it remembers that you had it in the off position when you turned the car off and the next time you turn the car off and then back on the vdc is off. you can then turn the vdc back on by pushing ht ebutton and everything will work normally. if you turn the car off after you turned the vdc back on the vdc will be back on the next time you start the car.

g8tor: i will have a set waiting for you. as far as the navigation bypass, there is only one that i know of and kevin built it on his car. i have talked to him about it and what he had to do to install it was rediculas. you basically have to take the whole navi system apart and get down to the circuit board and then directly solder onto the board. i myself dont know how comfortable i feel about doin that on someone elses car. cause if i mess up there goes the navi. if i do decide to install them, if he ever makes somemore you can be garanuteed that i will have a waiver that will have to be signed first. i have a feeling that it will be a while though before they come out cause its hard enough tryin to get him to complete the sun roof mod and its already been more than 6 months. i will def tell him though that there is interest in the navi bypass.
