As most of you know, I have been involved with the evolution of YOUR car club and have offered up our facilities here at Lokey Infiniti for the All Florida Meet on March 5th. It has been great getting to know you all and I'm so excited to see things finally taking shape.

I have been working on a few things to help make the Meet a success, and am pleased to be able to make the following announcement: As one of the prizes to be raffled at the meet, Lokey Infiniti will be donating either a FACTORY Satellite Radio system OR a factory rear spoiler for a G35- winner's choice!

Again, we are very pleased to be a part of all the excitement, and look forward to continuing our support of your hobby. Lokey Infiniti is here for this group, and our hope is that our support will help all Florida members make the decision to attend this event. Neffster is putting his heart and soul into this, and hopefully all of you see this and will help him make the event and the club a success. I urge each of you to get your membership into the club so that things can continue to roll. What a great return on such a small investment- a club FOR you and BY you!

That is awesome. I had some work done on my car last week and drove an 05 loaner that had a satelite system. That will be a nice raffle prize for someone.

As of now, the official date for the first "All Florida G35 Meet" is scheduled for March 5th at Lokey Infiniti in Clearwater, FL. John confirmed the date and location with me yesterday.

At the meet there will be free food offered by Lokey Infiniti and the FLORIDA G35 CLUB will be holding a MEMBERS ONLY raffle.

Besides the generous donation by Lokey (mentioned above) there will be other items raffled off. Each club member will receive his/her club T-Shirt and have a chance to win one of the following...

(1) Zaino "donation package", which includes Z1, Z2, Z6 and Z7 along with one applicator pad.

(1) Crawfordzcar Billet Oil Cap

(1) KP Technologies Remote Window Roll Up Module with optional automatic door lock feature and (1) Traction Control Module and FREE INSTALLATION by SFLG35 (Daniel, who is the Florida Rep. for KP Technologies)

Crawfordzcar is considering donating a MUCH LARGER ITEM, however the details are still being worked. Also, I'm still trying to get sponsorship from STILLEN. Hopefully these details will be finalized relatively soon.

I like the spoiler idea. Would be nice on my G.. I assume if we win we could get it installed that day (since I'm driving up from Miami?)

 

WOW! Those are some great prizes. Satellite radio is so nice. I wish I had one. For those of you that don't have the roll up module it's a great feature to have. I could always use some more Zaino and if Crawford is considering donating a much larger item (plenum??), It's going to be a nice day for someone.

one question?? does the membership give u one raffle ticket? are we selling more to raise club money?? i guess im asking the rules of the raffle

Good question dabomb. Membership into the club gets you ONE raffle ticket and ONE T-Shirt. I definitely want to keep the raffle open to Florida G35 Club members ONLY, however I never considered offering additional opportunities for the club members to win prizes. So... additional raffle tickets can be purchased for $11 each. (One dollar to cover the paypal transaction ) The only rule would be that the money would have to be sent into the club account (via paypal) PRIOR to March 1st, 2005. Again, you do not have to own a G35 to be a club member, nor do you have to own a G35 to participate in the raffle, so Finiti35 can win some of the cool prizes and install it on her car once she gets it (from Lokey of course ). Please remember to include a message in the paypal transaction stating that the money is intended for "extra raffle tickets" and send me a PM to be sure I record the paypal deposit correctly.

Remember this club is not for profit, so all of the money that comes into the club will be paid out to hold future events.

Daniel (SFLG35) would be the man to send a private message to. He is the official Florida representative for KP Technologies.net and he installed my window roll up module about 6 months ago (and I love it!) It took him about 20 minutes to hook it up, so you'd have to arrange everything in advance with Daniel.
