Raffle Ticket Special for the Lokey Meet

Who is going to be the first person to buy an extra raffle ticket or two. The items up for grabs now come close to $1000, not including 1 or 2 other MAJOR PRIZES that are still in the works.

Additional Raffle Tickets cost only $11 each and all proceeds go directly to help establishing the club! I've had several members generously offer to just give me a rather large sum of money to help the club get established and I've refused each and every one of them; however, this way you can legitimately contribute to the club and get something in return.

Simply go to the club website and click on the membership tab. In the memo section simply state "raffle ticket" purchase. I've decided to run a special for a unspecified period of time just to get things started...

Buy 7 tickets for the price of 5!

That's $55 for 7 tickets. Who's game? As of now there are 21 members registered and it's possible that all of them will not be at the meet. For $55 your odds of wining one major prize go up DRASTICALLY!

There will be a limit of 1 MAJOR PRIZE for each club member.

Major prizes presently include;
-the Zaino kit
-the Lokey Infiniti Sat. Radio or Rear Spoiler
-the Crawford Billet Oil Cap
-the 2 KP Technologies packages

There will be other prizes available too (which will be announced very shortly), and each club member is allowed to win as many of those prizes (plus one Major Prize) as your luck allows.

Please reply below if you sent in additional money for raffle tickets.

Thanks for your support!

Bump! I changed the title so that it would correspond with the thread. Offer has been updated......

Also I realized that the paypal fees on $55 is MUCH less than on five $11 transactions, so I've decided that in order to be fair to everyone, the special will be updated to...

7 tickets for $52.50. This comes out to just about $50 in proceeds for the club after the paypal fees are subtracted which was my original intent.

Don't forget that I'm still working with Crawford and Stillen. Hopefully more will be announced shortly...

Well I was trying to figure out the value of each prize if I'm going to buy 7 tickets for $52.50.

Zaino Kit $68.95 shipped (savings of $16.50)

KP Technologies Roll Up Mod/Trac Control Installed $100 (savings of $47.50+install)

Crawford Billet Oil Cap Couldn't find price but compared to Nismo it would be $60 (savings of $7.50+shipping)

Lokey Rear Spoiler or Satellite Radio Installed Easily worth $400+ (savings of $347.50+)

I know there a some possible other prizes being worked on that will definetly turn heads and I'm sure cost several hundred. After figuring out how much everything is worth "I'm All In". Neff check the paypal account and set some tickets aside for me. It's a great deal and it helps the club.

Sean,

Actually the KP Technologies modules are going to be auctioned off as 2 packages. Each package will include 1 VDC module and 1 window module. This means that each person gets $100 worth of product, free shipping and free installation. I'm guessing this value would be at $150 for each of the 2 packages (including the install fees). That equates to about a $100 savings for each of the packages (after someone purchases 7 additional raffle tickets).

Also, Doug told me that they sell the billet oil cap for $80.

heh, If I could buy the tickets for the spoiler only I would do it. I have a full Zaino kit, I have a NIsmo Oil Cap, I have an alarm with up/down from my remote (not interested in the VDC side) but the Spoiler I *AM* VERY interested in.

The raffle tickets would include the spoiler if that's what you won. If you won the Zaino kit it won't go to waste trust me I've re-ordered it several times. If you won somethnig else and didn't want it you could sell it for a lot more than the cost of some raffle tickets. I'll work out a deal with you for the satellite radio if you won it.

Easy killer. It's pretty disrespectful to sell a sponsors donated item. The auction will be set up in such a fashion that if you win a MAJOR PRIZE and don't want it, you can choose one of the smaller prizes in place of the Major Prize. The MAJOR PRIZE will go back up on the auction block.

I will be requesting at the event that NO ONE sell any of the items that have been donated to the club. If the sponsors caught wind of this intent, they might pull their items from the raffle all together!

well then maybe if you win a major prize that you already have you can choose another??? if I had both a spoiler and sat radio (which i dont) I wouldnt want to give away a $400 product for a $15 item.
in my case, I would have to keep any item I won (gladly might I add)...but we should work something out for someone like tgenius

Buying raffle tickets is supposed to be done with the intent of supporting the club, and the sponsors(like myself) donate items to help the club generate revenue. The phrase "looking a gift horse in the mouth...." comes to mind...

I understand the perspectives from everyone involved. I just would *REALLY* love that spoiler, and if I had a way to get more tickets towards that item (which ends up helping the club) then I'd be all for it!

I'm trying, but if we raffle off a zaino kit and the person says, "I already have a zaino kit, can I have the Sat. Radio", the answer is NO!

You get what you get and you don't mind a bit. That's what I tell my 2 and 4 year old all of the time...

I've thought about having raffle tickets specifically for each item. Maybe numbers 0-250 be for the zaino kit and 251-500 be for the sat radio, etc... and give every CLUB MEMBER four raffle tickets (one for each MAJOR PRIZE being raffled). Then if someone wanted to buy 7 tickets for $52.50, they could specifically target the prize that they are going after. Tgenius could say "I want to buy 7 tickets for the ______."

I would not mind doing this, but I need to find a place that sells raffle tickets before comiting to doing this. Also, after we auction off the 4 large prizes we could take all of the raffle tickets that haven't been drawn and combine them into one large bowl. This way everyone still has a chance to win one of the smaller prizes...

What do you guys think of that idea?

thats not a bad idea. It does fix the problem of someone that has both a spoiler and sat radio not having to throw another one in the garage because they arent allowed to sell the won they won.

BUT, it could create another problem of everyone that doesnt have both will be going for that prize and the others will have 35-50 tickets only.

I think we are in a LOSE-LOSE situation.

Well since it seems do-able I'll go ahead with that plan.

As of now, if you want to buy Raffle tickets for a specific item, simply go to the club website and click on the paypal $25 to membership@floridag35club.com link. In the memo section specify that your money is for purchasing raffle tickets AND STATE WHICH OF THE PRIZES YOU WANT YOUR MONEY APPLIED TO.

If I can get 1 or 2 more MAJOR PRIZES donated in the next few weeks I will let people changing their minds as to which MAJOR PRIZE they want to apply their extra tickets to.

The paypal message would look like this...

Neff,
I want 7 tickets for the satelite radio and 7 tickets for the KP Technologies window up and VDC modules. My $105 is included...

I'll have to call PlatG later on today to update the club website to include this information. I sure hope everyone sees this post!!!

This means that every member of the FLORIDA G35 CLUB that is in attendance at the Lokey Meet and in attendance for the raffle will get 4 tickets (which is one ticket for each MAJOR PRIZE). If a fifth item becomes available, I'll give everyone 5 tickets (is this making sense dabomb?)

There will still be a cap that allows ONLY ONE MAJOR PRIZE per person.
