same was in my case. Lien holder said upfront that they are not paying for any repairs, but they will negotiate the price to offset the cost of repairs that needed to be done. And it's like that in 99.9999% of the short sale cases. The only thing I require seller/lien holder to pay is the inspection of the septic system as the county that property located in requires it to be done before property can be transferred into another persons name. So due to those rules I simply cannot become an owner of the property and do the inspection my self until county receives satisfactory report of a septic inspection.

 

Hmmm well I may be inquiring about thier business soon since I would need a trust worthy inspector. Either of them named Gadjet? .
