I just got a fresh set of tires and I got Continental Extreme Contact DW. These are the summer tires, NOT the all season DWS.

Anyways, after running on the likes of FK452s, Hankook V12s, Yokohama S Drives, etc. these new tires are in a different league. The weather here in Orlando has been very rainy for the past few weeks, like every day, and the wet traction is amazing.

Only problem is they're a little pricey. But I got a great deal on em anyways. In my rear size (285/35/19), Tirerack has the Hankooks at $235 a piece, and the Conti's are $278. Even the Conti A/S are $250 a piece. And treadwear is pretty good for a summer tire @ 340UTQG. The v12s are only 280.

Good luck!

Then I drove to work this morning and the steering wheel wobbles so bad. I'm pretty sure we forgot the hub centric rings and they're still on the g37. I'm going to see if Vossen can overnight me some rings to Z1 so I can get them installed before heading home.

In other news, the g37 looks pretty retarded with those racing harts..... they poke out past the fender lulz... and the g35 is now hella sunk.
Wow, what an ordeal. Glad you got it done. Sucks about the offset/size on the Vossens. Guess they're made for g37s and not g35s. But i'm sure you can fix it with some spacers if you wanted to.

I've read that a lot of people say 100kish, but probably depends on if the springs aren't doing more damage. As in lowered without the stiffer spring rate (or even, *gasp*, cut springs).

Let us know what you find out. I'm curious.

I had the strangest thing happen to me a while ago. I had a very loud noise when going over bumps and I couldn't figure it out. The performance wasn't suffering (like you're describing), but it was making a horrible noise. Turns out the nut holding the strut together was completely loose. The nut that you can access from the engine bay.

i'm not suggesting that's what your issue is, just a very strange situation. What kind of shocks/coilovers do you have?
