I am really looking for replacement:

Rad overflow cap
Power Steering cap
Windshield washer cap

Cannot find replacements anywhere. Even though Pi-thons caps are advertised for the 350z and the G, they don't fit the G.

I am out of options.

The combination of the Plenum; High Flow Cats; Y-Pipe and CAI made for a "seat of the pants" and ear performance enhancement

GroundingGear Wires

FLFIRE,

I noticed you have your GroundingGear wires installed in the second pic there...I am about to purchase them.

How do you like them?

Any problems? Noticed any hp gains?

Thanks!

I've heard that the plenum is a great mod for an 03 or 04. Some people say that the plenum is a waste on an 05 because the OEM plenum is already improved... part of the extra 18 horsepower option.

I was just wondering how the plenum worked on an 05...

I have a '05 and it works good! Yes, I noticed a difference right away in low and mid range.

For every person with an 05 6MT who says the plenum makes a difference, there's another one who claims it doesn't. Sure it does add a few hp at peak but whether it can be felt at all, I'm not sure at all. So I've put the $350 it costs towards my wheel fund for now

Thanks for the info. Low end power is always good! It's nice to hear from someone that actually has the new plenum on a 6MT.

I've heard some of that too. I'd like to find out what the actual design differences are between the 04 and 05 plenums. I'm not going to swap mine out today or tomorrow... It's just something I'm considering for the future...

FLFIRE - I forgot the 05 5AT cars weren't the same as the 6MT cars. I wasn't trying to zing you or anything...

Have you looked on my350z? I'm pretty sure somebody with the crawford plenum dynoed their 05 300hp engine and posted a before and after dyno. For some reason I thought all the gain was around peak. I remember when Steve first got the plenum installed, he told me he could feel that it was pulling harder after 4k rpm. I've asked a dozen people ever since and I've been getting mixed opinions.

As far as the grounding kit, I actually drove a 6 speed Z that had it and I did notice it ran smoother than mine, especially at idle and lower rpm's. Almost as smooth as an auto. Might have to find another G that has it and drive it to make sure I wasn't just imagining things

I've heard mixed results about Crawford's plenum on a 2005 G35. I'm curious as to how you like it.

.
If I had the MT, I would not do the plenum based on the dynos and what I have been reading here. For my AT, I think it does bring something small to the table.

I love them. 0 HP gains from my butt test, (not that it is reliable). However, the shifting is more crisp in both the MM and Auto mode. Idle seems smoother too. I would def make the purchase again.

Surprised to hear you say the the Pi-Thons Caps don't fit....I just ordered them...and as you said they specifically say they are for the G35...what gives...I guess I will find out on Friday when my caps arrive.

They def don't fit the 05. I will keep my fingers crossed for you that they work on the 03/04.
