Actually, I need a good installer for the Escort ZR3 laser shifter. They sell them at Sound Advice, but I'm not sure how good their installers are. Basically, any good car stereo installer can install this system.

I'm thinking of doing it myself not to save money but to ensure the job is done right (I have the skills and tools, just too busy).

Can anyone give me the name or place of a good installer that will do the job right the first time?

although i've never been there, creative carz might be able to do it, plus you might be able to get a discount since your a FGC member. I was thinking about going there to get a sound sys install, but keep us posted on where you go, just so i have another place to compare prices

 

Talk to DiamondGCoupe, he had his system installed at Sound Advice, he can tell you more. What I do remember him saying though is that they look at you and throw out a random price, someone else can get charged cheaper for the same job..

 

There two places I can tell you are definitely good.
Miami Sound Design on on US1 in Coral Gables... its at the corner of US1 and Le Jeune Rd. I had a friend that worked there and they do some really good work.

Another place is the Sound Advice in Kendall - 305-273-1225
Call and ask for the Jose that works in Car Audio, he's been doing this stuff for years. I'm personally about to get some big things done there (I chose Sound Advice because I'm a student and there are Sound Advice / Tweeter stores everywhere in case I ever have a problem. I think you can trust they'll get it right the first time.

 

i get everything done in south florida at a place called cartronics. they have a few shops but the one that i go to is on s. dixie hwy (us-1) and sw 139 st. across from the falls. theyre really good there.
