Quote: Wow this sucks! I was planning on getting this same unit but if I have to go with one of those old school cd changers in the trunk forget it. I need to be able to change the cd's from the **** pit.
You can probably fit a cd changer in the top glove box. CD changers (even indash ones) are a pain. You can get the better eclipse unit with the built in harddrive.

you are correct on the Cd changer. I have the Kenwood 6 disc and it fits in there perfectly.

I was oringally looking at that one, but I like how the avn is not a flip up. I will look a the alpine again. Can you get the steering wheels controls to work with this one? Thanks!

great looking unit. it looks like there is a slight gap on the bottom, is that noticable in real life?

Thanks. It's noticeable for me because I know about it, but it's not as noticeable as in the pic because my camera flash shows it a lot more. In real life, that area is dark so you can't really see it unless you really look. I want to figure out a way to fill it.

If you can find one, the Kenwood double din dash kit has a plastic filler that takes care of that spacing.
