I think it's time to start a new, "clean" thread about the visit several of you want to make to Lokey on June 3rd for service. I have received a LOT of PMs about this and that, and would like for everyone to post what they need done here.

A couple of you are experiencing the "Intermittent Lefthand Speaker Failure", and I want to help you the best way I can. I am going to try and preorder the countermeasure units for this (which BTW are not publicly available yet), but I need info to do this. If you are one of the people CURRENTLY experiencing this problem, please PM me the following information ASAP: Your full VIN, current mileage, and exact complaint description. I will then try and have the units here for the 3rd so that you do not have to make a second trip out here for that. How's that for service.....

Let's keep this thread specifically to the issue we need to address on your car, so that I can identify what parts I need to anticipate having here for the 3rd.

P.S.- I still have a couple Crawford cast plenums around for anyone who might need one . I also received today from Nissan Motorsports the Infiniti Cold Air Intake kit- it even has a cool G35 logo on the polished intake pipe! Also from Nissan Motorsports is a Finned Aluminum Differential Cover.

 

Well...originally I wanted to bring in my car to fix the driver's window (wouldn't go down), but as of today it worked for a few minutes and now it won't go up. I've taken it to Orlando Infiniti in fear that it might rain, or someone might want to take "a closer look" in my car. Lets see what they can do (crossing fingers that they don't say anything about the Kptech mod).

I would still like the following done to my car:

transmission oil change

fix/align center arm rest (won't close properly)

 

1. Demonteverde321 (Trans. oil change; Fix/Align center arm rest)
2. 98intrigue (CD Player does not work; hopefully wheels/tires will be ready for mount/balance)

98, please PM me the same info I requested above for the "Lefthand speaker" -afflicted members. I can try and have the unit here for you on the 3rd. We usually have to diagnose them and then have you return a week or so later when the audio unit arrives. This will avoid that issue for you.

* Broken stud replaced on each of my front rotors
* Front Tires swapped (L <-> R)
* Radio Left Speaker Problem (PMing you now)
* Mobil 1 Oil Change (I can bring oil if needed)
* Fix/Align center arm rest alignment

Please put me in last for an appointment, I dont know how early I can be there.

Todd, my appointment is at 8:15am. Would you like to drive together? Maybe that will help me stay awake, since I'll be working until 2am the night before (or should I say morning?).

I recommend that we meet early (6AM) at Waterford Lakes in front of Target and then proceed to head out to Lokey on 417 -> I4. Everyone have sunpass/E-pass?
