its not how often. its how many feet can you go without scrapin?

and the answer is maybe a foot!

but he prolly wont scrape as often now that he has raised the car back up. when it was lower it would scrape all the time

thanks all!

Takes about 3 hours now to Zaino. It will take a bit longer when you are using the claybar, but I only do that every 3rd time (Zaino once every 3 months). When not using that (and just the Z5, Z8, Z2, Z8, glass polish, leather cleaner/conditioner), takes about 3 hours.

no scraping anymore and yep, there is a 1" gap in the front now. After seeing one of the other guys on here with his lowering issue, I am now ever more glad that I raised it up. He hit something and destroyed the undercarriage flow plate

Wow, three hours is pretty quick for doing all that! I started using Zaino recently and find it takes me much longer, but it's worth the time.

Your car does look gorgeous... Nice job.

getting ready to do it again since its been almost three months, hope it doesnt take as long this time

6 hours?? you guys are nuts. I've never spend more than 2 hours washing/waxing. I guess this is why I've never tried zaino. I don't think I have enough patience. Is there a detailer in FL that uses zaino?

once you are doing no claybar, it will cut down on time. z5, z8, z2, z8 only takes about 3 hours. You don't have to clay each time unless you get some really dirty rain or drive through a lot on construction zones.

that's the order you recommend? z5, then z8, then z2, then z8? I'm looking for the best result out of the least work =)

The least amount of work would be...

1. Bridge abutment at 55mph
2. New car

yep, I would do that z5, z8, z2, z8 (or you can sub z6 in for z8 if you already have that).

And I think Todd tried his method, but the deer technically could not finish the job.

Sorry if that is in bad taste, but I could not resist!
