My install will only take place when Vortech proves to me they have done all there homework. Before all this took place I called Vortech and question them about an 05 6mt kit.
I was told "No problem" Thank God they never shipped it to me. I will just wait this one out. IM sure they will get this problem figured out. IM so busy at work right now, Maybe this is a good thing. Jose, Did you get the headers installed yet?

 

i'm leaving for lokey in a couple of hours, so they'll be on the car by tomorow nite

vortech needs to hurry up and release this kit for the 05 6mt cause i'm going thru boost withdrawls already just from thinking about it

 

That's so cool... How noticeable is the sound... I've never seen a supercharged steet car with mufflers... I'll bet it makes the supercharger's spinning noise that much louder...

This is a good thing. We will have to wait this Vortech thing out. Understand I will be one of the pickiest people about install and tuning. My guess is the 2005 6mt is going to bang out 40 ponies more than pre models. I will be installing the overdriving smaller pulley. The 3.19
The cam timing in the 2005 will let you do this. I hope Vortech works on the maps of the ECU. This will be a good wait.

 

i know... it might be worth the wait hope some1 hurrys up and volunteers to be the the guinea pig, so we can get this kit.

 

You can hear the supercharger from forever away.. my friend drove it down the road while I stood in the parking lot and I heard it for quite some time. I have pulled up next to a bunch of people at stop lights and they all just shake their heads or look really confused, it's great.

I am also missing my tow hook cover and bumper lights as well, so I look even more ghetto. I forgot how much of a difference 20" wheels make in ride height, with the stock 18s I am rubbing and scraping all over the place.

The TS reflash has been done and the tranny cooler has been ordered....
