very impressive.............how did u manage to pull off a $555 ticket............i got a $350 ticket for doing 110.......so i cant imagine what you were doing

 

Construction Zone, workers present I think that was what he got written up for

 

At Sound Advice in Aventura. I had to call around to a couple of them to see if they had in stock. This one did; others did not.

 

The truth is I was doing 87 in a 70 zone on I75 around 8am on a weekday. Suddenly, near mile marker 101 around a curve the limit dropped to 60 and there were construction zone signs (no workers). Mind you, the conditions and my driving were very safe, no aggressive driving or anything like that, just cruising.

There were about 12 Collier County Sheriff's vehicles pulling the whole world over, including me. The Deputy was wearing a mic and had his dashcam on, the whole nine yards. He said I was doing 90 in a 60 which conveniently put me at 30 above the posted limit which is the highest speeding penalty tier. Then, he said I was doing this in a construction zone with workers present which doubled the fine.

I ended up doing on-line driving school for $40, no points, and got a reduced fine of $471. Then I got the Escort . . .
