Question about crawfrod plenum, headers, and cats

My question is I want to get the crawford plenum, headers, and cats but dont really want to add an aftermarket exhaust. i havent been empressed with the sound on any of them. Is it possible to add all of those and keep the stock exhaust or is it just not worth it? Done anyone else in florida have this setup and if so do they like it?

Thanks in advance

Tim

That's actually the right way to do it. Exhausts on this car are a waste of money if you're staying N/A, unless you want the looks, and sound is highly subjective. Neffster, G35Sean, and amg35 all have the Crawford package with stock exhaust and to me that setup sounds better than any aftermarket exhaust for the G.

Why do you never show up at any meets down here?

Don't forget to add Escobar929 to the list of Crawford everything!!! He is the only one of us that has also got the full exhaust (fuji I think). I'm hoping to hear his car before he gets the S/C installed...

Pablo has had a sick vid of his car in the works since before he had the Fuji installed... still waiting Sounds like a mean V8, a ton better than before the cats/headers. Take the fam on a trip down to SFL on the 17th, you'll get to hear his car in person at the meet

Edit: driver needs more smilies badly!

yeah, the headers and cats made a huge difference. if you get the crawford package you can keep the stock exhaust. i got the fuji mainly for looks but it wont hurt when the vortech arrives.

todd,
if you make it to the 17th meet, i'll promise to give you a ride in the G. although compared to urs it will prob feel like a civic

urs truly
Pablo

hey pablo which fuji exhaust do you have, the legalis R or the Ti? There is a huge price differince in the two. Any reason you didnt go for the true duel exhaust?

Also has anyone gone with the polished plenum by crawford cause it certinly looks better but is it worth the money?

i have the legalis-R, didnt even know they made a Ti for the G. the only reason i didnt go w/ a TD is cause unless ur Gman and ur power goals are over 500rwhp then its not really needed

Honestly, the Borla needs cats/headers to sound nice, same goes for Fuji. Otherwise it's too quiet, and it doesn't have the stock growl, to me at least
