Yeah, Ryan should stay away from tools for a while. He told me that the plate holding the shifter down had bolts that were spinning. He screwed around with these bolts for like 15 minutes while I was getting dirty tearing apart and repairing my lawn mower. Finally I walked over to the car and picked up the socket wrench. I instantly noticed that Ryan was TIGHTENING the bolts instead of loosening them. When I told him what was going on he gave me the most awesome reply.

"well it's righty-tighty, lefty-loosey, right?" LOL

My reply was, "no, it's clockwise = tighten and counter clockwise = loosen, except for left handed threads." Ryan just looked at me sort of confused and said, "oh... yeah". It was a hoot!
