Ok, I can't resist even though the thread is closed. . .
After reading the IOCC thread, it reminded me of what turns most people off (including myself) from dealerships in the first place. I felt like I was reading a high pressure radio ad in the form of spam. Maybe if there was a couple of more explanation points added somebody would feel compelled to buys something from them.
Another reason why I travel 120+ miles to Clearwater for my service.
I strongly support the BOD in maintaining its one dealership sponsor policy.

i feel as a board of directors member and a sponsor of this club that he has no right to come in here and act like that.
our current sponsorship mandates are that we only have one dealership as a sponsor and when you come in here saying that stuff it reminds me why i want to keep it that way.
why would someone want to come to you to buy something when all you do is come in pushing product and tellin everyone that you can beat whoever. you come in saying that you are the new guy but i personally dont think you have spent a day looking at what your actual prices are and what the discounts are. if you think you can under cut everyone you better think again, especially if you think you are goin to sell to someone in state. have you forgotten that you have to charge them sales tax?? im sure you prolly have also most places online also give free shipping. what if you have to ship to someone, now granted they could come in and pick it up, but what if the live 2 hours away. you goin to give them free shipping too? prolly not because if you do guess what you just loss money, tryin to beat online prices by discounting enough to make sales tax a non issue and then give free shipping
let look at it this way.
lets say your cost on a set of X item by X brand is 20% off MSRP. lets use a item that has an msrp of 850. that means your cost is 680. now lets add tax (7%)to that, so now we are up to 727.6. alright now you have to pay to have it shipped to you, to get it from your wholesaler to you, and its a heavy item. you are goin to pay $60 in shipping. so now you are at 787.6 now you have to ship it to your customer. thats another $60, total cost to customer and you make no money is is 850. you also lost a customer cause they can find the same part from an online dealer for 800 shipped. also the online dealer is still goin to make money cause all he has to pay for is the shipping.
being a sponsor i really dont like you right now cause i have work a lot harder for this club then you prolly every will and donated a lot of money. you are coming in here selling the exact same stuff i am trying to sell my customers. i know Peter at IAPDirect.com is prolly feeling the same way cause he sells much of the same stuff as well. trust me i know what i am talking about i know what your discounts are and where you probably get your stuff from, and they are nowhere in your area so i know they have to be shipped to you.
you might want to look at who you offend before you come in here with your high pressure ads!! cause right now i am a sponsor and a board of directors member so i control a little bit more of your faith with this club than you might think. i have also been around a lot longer than you have. just some thoughts you might want to consider.
ps if you do know your parts and how much they cost you should be able to figure out exactly what part i am talking about

yeah i agree Dan, i really dont like those "i spend a lot of money so i"m the best" kinda people. a perfect example is those guys from VRT, we all hate them cause of their attitude.
i'll rather drive 250+ miles to lokey, where John is the coolest guy ever, and still get a great price on stuff.

well i really dont know what your talking about it i am not looking to steal any of ur members and by the way i have been in the automobile buisness for over 10 years and working on import cars ever since.... before i even started this iocc performance i was a normal g35 owner just like everybody else and enjoying ur website i am not looking to make any deals on parts people come to the shop and spend big money because they know that we will back it up and warranty any and all of are work, do u now any body that will warranty any parts that broke do to a supercharger well guess what we do!!!!!! and i also was just trying to be nice to some locals about getting some vip passes for hot import nights and i am sorry if i offended u and ur club in anyway! SEE U AT HOT IMPORT NIGHTS AND THEN TELL ME WHAT U THINK!!!! SORRY I WILL NO LONGER POST AT THIS WEBSITE THAT IS OPEN TO G35 OWNERS!!!!

stop rubbing how much money you have put into your car and shoving it in everyones face. we all work hard for what we have. altough it may not be much in some peoples cases, they still worked hard for it. and for you to come in here and and be like hey look at me ive put so much money into the car you thin that makes them feel any better?

Reading Your Post For The Second Time It Seems Like U Are Trying To Kick Me Out If It Makes U Feel Better Go Ahead!!!!!!!!!!
