My husband took his car to a local shop this weekend (which will remain nameless) to get new tires installed and balanced on his '05 coupe. It was dark when he FINALLY got out of there so he gave his car a quick walk-around (this place came recommended by you guys so he was more at ease than usual). It wasn't until this afternoon when he was washing it that he noticed the severe indentations and harsh scratches on the inner wall of his rims. Looks as though the retard that installed the tires used a tool without the proper padding which took off the powder coating down to the raw forged steel on two of his stock 19's.

My husband wants to give the losers a chance to fix it -- I want him to go to Infiniti for a quote & then give these asses the invoice. Suggestions/similar situations? Please advise. P.S I created this user name today without Mr. nice guy's knowledge.

Ian (Demonteverde321) used this guy to repair his rims. If the shop refused to do anything you may want to try him.

It's on the inside of both rims which you can see depending on how he parks it. Can your guy fix the inside... is the make-up any different than the outside. THANKS.

I hope that they'll do the honorable thing and pay to have it fixed... I don't trust them to do it... Sure thing about posting the name once this is resolved (or not)

She could have had her car totaled instead of her rim scratched.
