It is different and it sounds a little corny but, I bet most of us, including myself, have never been to a drive-in movie. It would probably be a pretty decent place to get together while the weather is still nice. The price is not bad either. We could get there a little bit early, eat some greasy food, talk cars, watch a movie, eat some more greasy food. The one above is in Lakeland. There are about ten drive-ins left in Florida so, it is becoming somewhat of a novelty.

 

yeah leave it to the old guy to decide where we go...... great, we can all bring our 8 tracks and sing "grease lightning"


maybe we should have it at The Hop !!

 

Even the 50's are a little too early for me. I'm more of an 80's X gen child.

Now, we could get together and go to a Def Leppard or Motley Crue concert.

 

And don't forget the swap meet/flea market potential.

If we were to go, it would have to be before summer time. Hear, humidity, and mosquitos suck.

 

hey we can hang out at the mall and pick up chicks after that.... lol sorry just kidding. Sounds like something different.

How about we do the drive in after the sock hop!

 

Yeah...maybe we can split up into two groups. How bout we call NFL the greasers and SFL and CFL the socs (or if you wanna go a bit more old schooled...the sharks and jets).

Then...we can 'rumble' or 'fight' each other and, after, enjoy a refreshing coca-cola at the local diner. What do you say gents? Sound like fun huh?

I think we should go on a 10k run around downtown so everyone can see

 

ohh and thats 6miles in canadian...fancy "eh"?

 

How bout we get together and have Florida's largest shuffleboard party

 

i dont think we have enough members yet...we can save that for '07 when we have our 20,000 members
