Maybe a coincidence, or maybe someone has found a way to get under the hood to disconnect the battery cable...

Either way, I called my auto insurance company (Allstate) to see about getting my wheels covered on my policy and they told me that the insurance company does not provide that type of coverage anymore due to fraud. Does anyone have any after market mod's covered? What insurance company provides this coverage?

If you want my wife is an insurance manager at AAA. She can help you get a rider. I think thats what you need. If you want to give her a call and speak to her she will be more than glad to help you. Im suprised that Allstate wouldnt be more helpful.

if the batter is disconnected does the shock sensor still work??????? I heard that wheel locks are easy to get off. Not sure though.

Shock sensor will no longer work without the battery connected. Wheel locks will buy time and **** thief off may end up with add'l damage to the car.

Please PM me with contact info for your wife to see if its worth me transfering my policies over.

Thanks.

Does it matter? Alarm, wheel locks, etc... are just ways to keep the amateurs away, to keep the kids from messing with your car... if a thief wants your wheels, they will have your wheels...
