Got my ISO today

I received my ISO Thermal Spacer today so my next item is the lower plenum or mrev+ I think they call it. I am going to call motordyne to see what the heck is up with the core swap and how much it ill be.

Anyone of you know what they are doing with this?

Hmm lets see. Yeah nice retort but from what I have seen in the movies the name Escobar doesnt soud like a character you want to practice this stuff .

Hope he doesn't have a little friend he wants to show you

Foo_G,
I just picked up a used '03 6MT coupe and am thinking about getting the ISO Thermal Spacer and MREV++ as well so any feedback on your call to Motordyne about the core swap would be helpful. Thanks.

As of now the car's completely stock so this should be a nice first mod.

Hey Dakkerz,

Well what I have learned from a fellow FGC member, Gilley, that the mrev+ lower collector is the same as the one from the 03 just slightly modified. From what I have learned so far is that you could just get by with the 5/16 spacer and there is one for sale right now in the g35driver marketplace. See this thread https://g35driver.com/forums/archived-sales/97083-fs-mrev-5-16-spacer.html

I spoke with the seller and he is uninstalling this weekend and is send some pix on sunday so if you want to save a few bux drop him a PM.

I have not installed the spacer yet but 99.999% ofthe feedback I have read has been positive.

If you decide to buy new from MD and you opt for the lower collector they will give you a refund if you choose to send your lower plenum back to them, Core swap basically.

BTW I work down in Saraota 2 day of the week and we have another FGC member down there. If you would like to meet for lunch one drop me a PM and I will arrange for Jax_G35, you and me to meet up.

Welcom to G35Driver and I encourage you to ask questions of our FGC members and ask that you consider joining the FGC. W are budding yet very active club and I have had nothing but good times since I started participating.

I'm 99% sure I'm going to order the MREV Plus + lower collector and a 5/16" Iso thermal spacer this week. Any of you guys want to help me install it when it comes it, seeing as this is going to be my first mod?
