6 is enough.

1) Used vortech 3500 with ss box
2) Gauges 500 (wideband, boost, oil)
3) plugs 70
4) tune 300

total = 4370 (~360hp)

Vortech SC

Fully Built Sleeved block and bored to 3.8 liter & and Fully built top end with stainless steal valves and the whole works.

Stillen headers, race pipes, Fujitsubo y-pipe, 3.5 inch pipe to HKS muffler.

HKS F-CON Standalone w/ A/F knock amp and HKS Navigator. 3 defi gauges

12psi boost

Hell yah I would do it again. The torque and power in this car is a MONSTER. Well worth the money, many headaches, and problems. This is my first custom import I have done so live and learn. I am sure if I did another one it would be much easier.

I wish I could have done mine for 6,000. With going back and forth w/ parts and different shops I think I am around 35,000 plus the cost of the car.

thanks for replying guys .....i knew posting this thread that there wouldn't be that much of a response, but hey, since when did the sedans get much love?, let alone a f/i one.........regardless, that makes more towards the f/i route......currently eyeing the tn st.........also, i seriously doubt a coupe or other two doors will post about getting pulled by a sedan......

Let's bring this thread back!

1. type of f/i....s/c, s/t, tt, nitrous.....and manufacturer

Took off Stillen SC and now have Greddy Twins (with lots of other stuff like H2O/Meth, Big Radiator, HUGE 12-pot brakes, etc, etc (see my sig's link if you want to see a full list)

2. stock internals.....Yes/ if no, what did you beef up?

Yes for another month or so...
Then going in for a build. Weisco pistons, Tomei Rods, JWT S1 Cams/springs, HKS gasket, L19 Head Studs, APR Main Studs, Pathfinder cooling mod, RC 650's and a bunch of other stuff...

3. stock exhaust.....Yes/ if no, what do you have?

Currently the sedan borla with 2.5" TP's
Soon, a custom dual exit full 3" with AAM 3" TP's

4. flashed ecu or stand alone? if stand alone/piggyback, what'u got?

UTEC

5. hp/tq gained and running at what psi?

405/399 @8psi
Most of the time these days I run it with 3-4 gal of 109 at ~10-11lbs

6. WOULD YOU do it again? post your feelings away, the good, the bad and the ugly.....

Hell yeah!
I just would not have gone with the Stillen first and saved $ there.
And I would have built the motor while it was out last time and saved more $!

1. type of f/i.... turbonetics

2. stock internals.....stock internals

3. stock exhaust.....custom 3" exhaust

4. flashed ecu or stand alone? flashed ecu w/ a piggy back all tuned by vinnytenracing.com

5. hp/tq gained and running at what psi? haven't turned up the boost yet... 6psi - 297whp/326 torque on OEM exhaust. .... haven't dyno'ed w/ the new 3" exhaust

6. WOULD YOU do it again? post your feelings away, the good, the bad and the ugly..... the good -- the smerk on your face when you blow by everyone and they stare at the slow 4 door.... the 0% credit card was worth every penny... no one else has a 2006 6mt sedan around w/ a turbo i know so far
the bad --- speeding tickets =( either way i never looked back and am happy especially how it performs on stock internals... maybe ill build a motor in the future if i had the time and money

Kenny,
Is your TQ/Hp right? You have way to much tq to HP ratio, I think the Stock Exhaust is killing your Top End.

most likely it is. See what you do now with the new 3incher....

im surpise people dont go with bigger then 3 inchs...i know i got 3inchs on my 4cyl turbo car and thats the prefect size.

i thought having no back the less pressure is best for the turbo :0). guess i was wrong with these motors

You are right. For big numbers the less backpressure the better. I'm going with dual 3" for that reason. Some backpressure will still give you Tq but you will have better results and faster spool as it goes down.
