usually, it says "SPEARCO" in blue on the intercooler. That is another division of turbonetics parent corporation.

My says "spearco" but I flipped the intercooler around so my radiator can read it!

allright, after your pic, and seeing how the air filter sits on top of the fmic, i'm ever more so going with TN st, and the fact of the 1 year no hassle warranty doesn't hurt either............funny thing was that i saw a sedan where they cut, that's right, cut, chopped off a little portion of the front bumber beam to make room for the air filter

any luck on the banging/clanking thingy when off throttle and how's oem ecu doing?

i figured out the majority of the clanging was coming from the v-band clamp on the joint between the downpipe1&2. I reoriented the clamp and now, it's fine.

no...it's a regulaer Z tuner kit. "they said it's all the same," but there are only a couple differneces. you need to dimple (hammer time!!!) one pipe that hits on the front cover and I needed to get a slightly longer section of silicone hose coupling. (thank goodness for amazon hose in Miami!)

There's clearance for the intake there?? How come you didn't do it in the position where the manual showed, or is this a difference between sedans and coupes?

Hmm....wonder which position gets more air..... or cooler/warmer/more-less dirty air....

I bought the Z kit. it is about $500 less than the G kit. Basically, I didn't want the fans and controller for the intercooler...so why pay for it.

Plus, I like the intake tube on the Z kit better than the G. On the TN G kit, they have this very tight (restrictive) 90* radius rubber piece. plus, it puts the air filter down low. I have never been a fan of low air filter mounting. We get alot of rain and deep puddles in the streets here in Florida. Today is a perfect example. I'm glad I didn't have my filter at the bottom of the fender well after today's rainstorms!!!

http://turboneticsownersclub.com/turbos/Gkit.pdf

there are good pics in there.

slowly tuning it.

I am doing alot of part throttle tuning trying to keep the UTEC in a single "load site." it is very tempting to go WOT!!! I have the loadsites setup so that I have a 1 psi resolution per load site.

i got it in January 2006 $4500.00 ! ! !
Wish i got the Greddy or JWT twin kit instead. They are rated at nearly 420-450 hp. Turbonetics is only 380ish hp.
TIPS:
Do not tap the block for oil- use the "sandwich" between the oil filter & block
Other that that- The kit is very satisfying

anything over 400+ hp would best be handled with built engine....and of course deeper pockets........
i have the water/meth injection kit that i'll be installing for extra protection as well.......imo, 360-380sh rwhp is plenty enough as a dd w/stock internals, for me anyways......
