Stillen Stg2 Pulley Color

Is anyone running a stg2 in an 03 car year? What color pulley are you suppose to have? I have a red pulley which is suppose to be a stg3, but some say it is a stg2, so which is it?

For my 04' stage 2 is blue, stage 3 is gold and stage 4 is silver.
I know the 03's are different so just call Stillen, VRT, or Performance Nissan.

Well...just trying to get a consensus of what is out there since when I asked Stillen, they tell me that the stg3 is the red pulley for the 03 model, but stillen did my install for a stg2 on my car. Go figure!! Although i know it is a stg2 because i am not making anything over 6 pounds of boost.

Hmm!! That's interesting then. I have the red pulley that Stillen installed for me, but they claim it to be a stage 2. Now i'm really confused!! Yeah...probably just blow off the stg3 and go to the stage 4. Here in CA we have to worry about the smog thing. Any luck we can pass the sniffer test with the stg4?

Not sure but the pulley is easy to change so you could put the stage 2 back on when you get tested.

Can you run the stg2 pulley with the stg4 upgrades? I would think that you can, but just curious. How does the FMU work? What are variables used to make the 7th injector work? Is it based on pressure? Also do you need a pulley thingy(?) to remove the pulley?

you would run pig rich and fail any sniffer test.my pulley was quite hard to remove dunno why,it was like pressed on the shaft.even when i changed to the stage 4 pulley i had to use a much longer bolt to pull the pulley onto the shaft.

I had a hard time getting my stage 2 pulley off when I went to 3 but 3 to 4 was very easy.

As for using the stage 2 pulley with the stage 4 mods, I don't know how rich it would run since the SS box adds fuel based on boost. It might be just fine. If you have a A/F gauge you could check. My A/F has been about the same between all stages (a little more lean with 3 but well within safe limits).
