yes, you can get the Jim Wolf kit Installed at a few 'authorized' dealers. It's being sold but has to be installed by one of those dealers.
-Forced Performance
-Altered Atmosphere
-VRT
-I think SGP
..... probably others too, ... maybe MRC or Japtrix

Funny you forgot Performance Motorsposrts (theexperience), VRT and PM were the first two allowed to sell/install the kit.

So the best kit to get is the JWT. I was considering on getting the APS twins. What does the JWT kit offers that the APS doesn't. Just curious

JWT is known for it's quality work. JWT kit is new and their's not much info on how the kit will perform in the long run. JWT is by no means a complete kit, the kit is put together so that it can pass CARB. The good thing about JWT is that Jim himself is so focused on quality that he only pick certain shop that are reputable and can actually install and tune his kit. It really depends on your goal and every kit has an advantage. check this Turbo kit shoot out and you'll get an idea which one fit your need. http://www.nissansportmag.com/shooto...oshootout.html

If I wanted a monster then I'll go with Greddy since it's cheaper to upgrade. If you want a fast spooling turbo with enough power then JWT will be suffice. APS for me is the most complete of all the kits out there but you sacrifice customer service (even if you go to an authorize dealer). it's all about planning ahead and knowing your goal.

Not to bust your bubble, but the JWT tt kit can only be installed at a couple of shops in the U.S.(VRT, Vinny Ten's in NY, and AAM) at least with the greddy and aps tt, you can geti it installed anywhere you want. If you are not in cali, who cares about CARB anyway?

The aps has a simple EMS system, semi-return system, and slightly larger than stock injectors. The JWT has stock injectors, a FMU, and a split second box i think. The JWT tt kit is effective but is pretty basic compared to the aps.

^^^ These guys summed it up pretty good. Do your research, identify your goals and make an informed decision.

I am leaning towrds the APS...ball bearing water cooled TT give it the edge over the Greddy....the JWT does seem to be of good quality, but can anyone give me a technical (IE based in scientific reality) reason as to why the JWT is better than APS?

CARB isn't an issue here in Texas.

The JWT seems to make power down in the low RPMs a little faster and is pretty much considered to be a torque monster. But the APS is also a very well engineered kit.

With the APSs fuel return and larger injectors it may argueably be able to make more power at much higher boost levels. (on a built engine) I'm still not sure about how I feel about the Unichip but it seems like the bugs have been pretty well worked out.

Back to the Nissan Sport Mag article:

I honestly don't think that you can go wrong with either system as long as you have a very competent installer. My advice is to go with the kit that has an installer with an excellent reputation in your area of the country.

I've got the JWT kit installed by VRT and I love it. I've beat it up at the track and haven't had any problems, save some burnt up brake pads and some elevated coolant temps.
