Built motor + Greddy will easily get you 600 hp..

Sean.. IMHO, I would go with this setup in a heartbeat.. In fact when I do go FI, this is exactly what I am going to do. Caliente out here in Phx just 100 miles North of me is getting ready to put down some sick numbers with their built motors and Turbos..

The only difference is that I will be tuning with the UTEC ON MY OWN.. No paying $$ every time I need a tune.. I am liking this EM more and more every time I login to it, I change stuff around and am feeling the engine wake up.. I am a very happy camper right now.. Cant wait for NOS..

Howya doin, bud? Give me a call.

Well, I started at 380 w/ stock internals.

Then I decided, as long as I am droping 14 K on TT, exhaust, Eng. manage, tune, etc, and since I have one of the best engine builders in the country nearby, I might as well get an engine build (upgraded short block) and go a little higher on HP...maybe 420...

Now, maybe I will go 450.

Of course I will need new rims and tires, clutch, suspension....

I think I need to get into a 12 step program....lol...Mods Anonymous...

If you are ALREADY getting the engine pulled and built, might as well get the parts to get you too 600+ whp.. From my understanding its not much and you will be GOLDEN bro.. IMO, Engine is already out may as well do it.. The Greddy will get you above and beyond 600 whenever you are ready. A buddy of mine is already Greddy TT.. But in a few short weeks, he will have a fully built and stroked motor with the Greddy TT pushin 1200+ whp... Courtesy of Caliente in Phoenix Az.

There have been so many threads brought up about the Turbos and which is better blah blah and they have all been beaten like a dead horse..

SGP is top notch bro and if they are telling you they like Greddy, I would go with that.. They have TONS of experience with them and will do that built motor up like a raped ape on steroids.. If a company has sooo much experience with a certain product along with lots of success, go with what they like.. They have a good track record.. Its not like your going to Scotts Performance

I can almost guarantee you will be more than happy with the car if you have 600 whp..

Ken,

Tell me, how much of a diff did the UTEC make? Quite a bit I am sure. Did jeremy help you?

Have you had it dynoed yet?

I remember when you were debating the MREV2... now we have identical mods (Except eng man....the UTEC would be my choice in your situation).

I have a thread going on at my350z about the process so far.. I just got a laptop connected and started my A/F adjustments TODAY..

The difference is UNREAL! I havent dynoed yet as I will do that when I have perfect A/F and my timing is right on the money.. I couldnt be happier.. Car seems to run sooo much better as I was actually RICH after putting the MREV2 and 5/16 spacer with test pipes and exhaust, along with the UTEC..Not sure how it was before the install of the UTEC....
