Best exhaust for FI: ST,TT, or SC?
Best exhaust for FI: ST,TT, or SC?
Let me be more specific.
First, what is the best exhaust for my situation. Originally, I was debating between staying NA and FI, but I did want to upgrade my exhaust. I purchased the Fast Intentions 2.5 Intimidator exhaust and test pipes. With the test pipes and MREV2 plus spacer, it became clear that I would need engine management. After much research I finally reallized that I would only be truly happy w/ a TT (probably APS, not Greddy as my sig suggests) set up and a built short block. My goal is to make around 420 hp at the wheel. I should be getting my system either w/ in the next 2 weeks, or in 9 months.
So my first question is, will my 2.5 inch true dual be sufficient, or should I have gone for 3'?
Also, lets have a discussion of exhaust for ST and SC, since I am also curious about what I would needed to have done in those situations.

alot of it depends on the turbo itself, alot of people swear by 3'' piping but alot of times 2.5'' is enough
and if you per chance were thinking of going aps ST (kit runs for $4999) DO pick up the aps st exhaust... its a night and day difference in power and boost stability on that kit
