Anyone out there running the factory bumper with intercooler. Well need some advice guys. I have a front mount intercooler with the factory bumper on. Waiting on the front kit to get painted and when I am cruising my car overheats. But then when I start going about 30 or more the car cools down. Anyone???

 

hmmm I had the nismo bumper with my APS kit and never had overheating problems with the intercooler but I did run a water injection kit along with it and I'm sure that helped out. Do you know what your EGT's are like when cruising?

 

Odds are you have air in the cooling lines. You'll need to bleed the system.

 

i would drain all the coolant and run 100% distilled water and some purple ice or water wetter.

this will reduce anyones temps all the time. if you live up north you can only do this half the year. i dont see why everyone isnt doing it....

 

My EGT is about 3 1/2
