Overheating issue.?
Overheating issue.?
My car has been having issues with heat and overheating...
Ive had my system bleed 5 times the heat would work for about a week to two on the last one prior it worked for about a month no problem, this morning start my car my heat is gone, and my car is getting to hot according to the gauge in the dash, i have an excess gauge for water temp and oil temp in my car that says its reading around 120? thats not to hot at all, but according to the one on the dash its at the "H", I had a mechanic look at it he bleed the system again, and i have heat again, but according to the gauge in the dash its still touching the H? Now if i floor the car and push it in 2nd or 3rd gear the level will go back to middle then when i stop it will slowly work its way back.... I have no idea whats going on with my car, crap sucks i love this car to death, any help and offers i would preciate it very highly..
Thanks.

Maybe you can check to see if you have a bad radiator cap. Check for any damages including the rubber seal inside. If the rubber seal is cracked, your car will overheat. Thats just one thing to check

I had this issue on my '04 sedan just the other week... replaced my thermostat to fix it (~136K miles)... strangely, the car was overheating for 4 drives throughout the day, replaced the thermostat that night (took ~45 minutes), flushed / filled coolant and it STILL overheated on the test drive... let the car sit that night, issue went away. Check radiator cap, check thermostat. Thermostat's cheap at Autozone.
