I just installed my aps single turbo system on my car and i love every single bit of every dollar i spend and all the time ive been waiting for my G to come back to me, but im worried about one thing---> i can hear the turbo rattle around low rpms (around 2.2-3 rpms) but once i am past that, the turbo spools like a machine and sounds GREAT! i have just recently installed this turbo, but am still using the stock exhaust as i am waiting on the 3" aps exhaust system to arrive. Does anyone know what i am experiencing? Any input would be greatly appreciated. I hope that it is normal, or just a temporary fixable problem due to my stock exhaust. By the way, my car hasnt been fine tuned yet, but will be once the aps exhaust is ready. its UBER fast already, how much more will i get with dyno and aps exhaust? GIVE ME ADVICE.

 

Man the 3" exhaust is just huge, i don't think u need all that. Or you ganna gain HP and loss Tq which is what you want more than HP

 

Is there noticeable lag?

 

its the turbo hitting the frame rail, shouldnt be a problem just annoying, and yes the large exhaust is necessary with this kit, lag is minimal.

 

i dynoed at 330 untuned with a fujistubo exhaust. power rose to 380 with a jic ti.
