Greddy TT Kit - 2006 G35 2dr 6 MT

Ok, I've searched the forums but I still have a few questions:

1. Will the Greddy kit fit without any modification mechanically? Meaning do any of the parts, pipes, pieces of the kit have to be modified?

2. I know the blue box won't work but will it not work b/c the tune is off or b/c it won't work at all? Will I be able to start the car with the E-Manage or should I just start it with the OEM ECU just to listen AT IDLE for noises?

3. Tune the E-Manage or will it not work at all? Or UTEC?

4. How long did it take to install the kit?

5. Did you need to upgrade the clutch?

The Greddy TT will fit the 2006 6 mt. Since you are going w/ fairly large TT (and the Greddy is probably the best bang for the buck system out, although I am probably going w/ the JWT) I assume that you want big power (500plus to the wheels).

In that case you will need many parts, exhaust, fuel return, at least a bottom end build, clutch, radiator, etc. You will also need engine management. The EU is a minimum. To be honest, I wouldn't go w/ less than a UTEC, preferrably a V-Pro. Most important, have a skilled tuner.

Finally, go to my350z.com, where there is much more knowledge in general about FI.

Does anyone know if the Greddy has ever been tried on a sedan?

i have the greddy kit, some things i would highly recommend would be engine management up grade. I will be running HKS VPRO, an amazing piece of equipment along with bigger injectors and fuel pump. If you decide not to build your motor dont expect anything more than 410 or so at the wheels.

Can't afford to build it right now. Going to run a safe ~7psi tune and try to build it later next year.

UMS Tuning is going to install it for me. I don't have the time to try and do it. The SC was a lot easier.

Tony said that he will never do another TT kit on a G or Z without pulling the motor. I agree with him. I want to be able to torque down every bolt and some of them would be a huge pain.
