How do you guys afford your FI kits?

Just curious as to whether you pay cash or put them on a good old credit card....I've been toying with the idea, but dont have 7k stashed away to throw at it...

Also what is the most affordable, yet aggressive and reliable kit out at the moment?? I know this question is opinion based...So shoot me your 0.02...

I have a bad habit of saving money, then blowing it on big purchases. That plus a good yearly bonuses sent me on my way. Buying on credit if you cannot pay off within the month is a bad idea.

As far as kits go, it's all about who will be installing and helping you maintain your car. If you have a good tuner they will help you work out all the issues with the kit you get or with a custom setup.

If your thinkin of a voretch kit.. I'm thinking of selling mine with in a month or so, for dirt cheap. It's a full kit (polished) and has only been on for about 3000 miles or less. Keep an eye out

1. I waited until my car was paid off.
2. I waited until my bumper to bumper warranty was over.
3. I paid cash for my Stillen SC.

CASH IS KING!!!

CASH & Carry!!!!

But be ware keep some type of payment on the side for unpleasant surprises that always pop up during car modding.

If you can't go cash.. for something that could put you in debt that much.. then you shouldn't really be thinking about getting it. That's what I think. Remember.. don't put your credit in danger for the worst investment that you could ever possibly own. So if you can't pay cash for the stuff you're putting on your car.. then don't get it.

why do I see so many people selling their Vortech kits after only having it a short time?
