Dual gauge pods up & Running wideband A/F Ratio & Transmission Temp.

I decide to install the wideband AFR & Transmission Pods before the S/C job,
so that I would know a reference point & see what changes on AFR &
Transmission T. the the S/C would make.

They are mounted on the pilar but it's more stealth than tipical Pilar Pods,
This location is ideal for viewing while driving.

ARF right now runs between 13.7-14.3 normal driving & ~12.6 at WOT
Transmission Temp. ~130 after 20min winter driving.

Pic 2: You can not see it from the side at all, remain stealth:

Pic 3: You can see it from the front, but it's incely blended in with the black dash.

Good question. AFR is very important but you could have 11:1 and overboosting without even knowing it.

12.6 WOT sounds a little lean to me, probably makes decent power but dangerous. Where's the sensor located?

If that's 12.6 before the cat it's pretty lean. I'm ~11.3-11.6 at WOT.

he's not supercharged yet, so 12.6 AFR either way at WOT isn't lean.

Ooops I didn't notice this is pre HKS SC install. Where is the temp sensor located for the transmission? Pre or post cooler?

The dealer found a hole at the rear end of the transmission, so he screwed the sensor into it. The hole had a nut on it before, that must be meant for sensors.
The sensor stick right into the transmission, so better than splicing it inline either before or after the cooler.

$10 Universal Dual Pod I got on ebay.
It says it's for g35 coupe & a bunch other cars.

Heat over stove to make it soft so you can form/trim for your pilar shape.
