Vortech woes

My vortech sc has been feeling a little on the slow side, has anybody else gotten used to the power? maybe cold weather? or is it cause I haven't re-tuned my car after adding a crawford plenum?

Everyone becomes acclimated to the power. Time to step up!

LOL you changed your plenum and didn't retune your A/F ratios?

Yes ...I would retune the car and check your belt . May have stretched a bit . Check for boost and vacuum leaks also

Urban, I thought you went with Greddy Twins?

I am really used to the power of my Vortech by now. I don't even floor it anymore...it's just a noise making machine now. I have an upgraded fuel system, plenum, bigger injectors and pulley upgrade all sitting here at home. But, I just picked up a bike and now I don't even feel like touching my car because the bike is so damn fast.

What pulley are you running? Time to get a size smaller pulley and up her a bit... You can run the 3.12 very safely (thats what I got) and Sentry is running a 2.87 on a stock block... I just ordered a 2.8 non slip pulley and am going to give that a go once I get new injectors and fuel pump... that should get me close to 450 rwhp pushing between 12-13 PSI..... I guess it is almost time for me to start building an engine... damn, there goes about 10 G's.....
