Car is at the dealer now, They'll pull the VB & it'll arrive IPT tomorrow.

I'll get the car back by Friday.

Wish me luck.

Dealer estimation was two hr install, ~200 bucks,
Also need 4 day rental cars & they are spliting half & half with me.

~260 total. But I think this estimate is a bit low.

Qucik update: Just got my car back. Did some test run.

It seems shift faster now, and it's not to harsh.

Before VB, I was hitting rev. limitor at 1-2, 2-3,
Now I only hit rev limitor at 2-3. So, some improvments there.

But I believe L10, Stillen both still hit rev limitor under WOT.

So the questions is, With Stillen, L10, & IPT VB, one has to do manual shift for 1/4 mmile run, what rpm do you do the 1-2, 2-3 shift?

Using my G-timer, Using 5AT, I run a 1/4 at 13.45 after hit rev limitor & step on brake at 97mph due to traffic. Looks like a high 12" car to me if I can unleash the potential at track without hitting the rev limitor.

I shift in between 6 and 6500. I don't even race in D because of hitting the rev limiter with the stillen. I use my gtech as a shift light when I race. I might switch to the FI VB and sell my stillen VB.

The real question is are you happy with the purchase and the amount of money you spent. Also when you did the switch what was the total in the end and did they change the tranny fluid also.

The real answer is yes, I am happy with the purchase, the results vs. money spent. $499 VB to have the peace of mind that my tranny won't blow.

I'll be happier if I got the SGP VB for $499 but I am not willing to pay another $499 just for faster shifts (SGP ~1000).

They charged me 2 hr labor but it actually took more than 2 hours, good guys!

They changed 5 quarts of tranny fluid, that's $60. (Good thing, as I was thinkg about tranny flash)

My total out of pocket: ~760.

I am a budget modder, usually do my research to get the best deal around.
