I'm not here to start a war or anything but if you only want that kind of power I would get a Stillen SC and have a much more useable power band. Seems like a vortech at that level is just a waste.

I agree....unless you can't stand the hood


the stock vortech kit is kind of a waste IMO. It's not until you start really upgrading things like the pulley, headers, cats, exhaust, plenum, cams etc that the vortech really starts showing what it can do

An alternative might be the new HKS supercharger that I hear is coming out, but it's going to be $7k for the kit - major rip off considering it's a capped off system that isn't really upgradable

I would get allt hose later on, but rite now, i runnin on a stock internal, so doenst want to push too much power on it,.

so for the whisle noise - get a vortech blow of valve
..............rattleing noise - raise idle t 1000 rpm
thank for the info,...any more info i should kno???

just got my car back from street image.. you wont be disappointed.. u will want to raise ur idle to almost 1k tho as u mentioned to get rid of some rattle

anewaiz - streetimage? is that tuner performance shop??? are they reliable, i also need to find a shop that could install and reliable near where i live...where is that shop located.
