headers and exhaust for FI applications

thinking about getting DC headers and HKS exhaust...

do these go well with a vortech? or is there a better comb?

I'm getting a Stillen exhaust when I get back from deployment. I've heard that the Vortech likes flow, so you'll make more power, However; your boost will drop in doing so. Basically, you'll make more power with less boost, which is better on the engine.

what about headers? when using a vortech, do you need special custom headers? or are they all the same?

???? what do you mean by "how a supercharger works" or "where it is placed"

what makes you think i don't know how a sc works or where its placed?

if you don't have any comments regarding the question just stay off this thread...it makes your self look like an a$$

when going FI a bigger piping diameter may be more effective in producing hps

^^^
im also very considering the DC headers

Don't pay any attention to him. Why even post if all you're going to say is search or research??

I was considering the vortech, and yes it does like less back pressure. I can't comment on those brands, but headers, y pipe, etc should give you more power.

Check ou my350z.com. Lot more guys there have FI. Good luck!

hks is 2.25" true dual, I think?

Stillen is 2.5" so is FastIntentions. I would pick one of those if going for FI. Both of those show gains NA as well - so it's win-win.

i don't know that headers matter as much...
