to the OP, hot car but save the speeding to the track. if you must do it on the highway, at least wait until there is no one around you.
Its only loud when your at high rpms..... i dont find it annoying at all... I actually find myself stepping on the pedal more just to hear it....

At low RPMs i dont even notice any difference in engine sound... I actually wonder what stock sounds like

Just had this since Monday, ECU reflashed again, actually reprogramed the piggyback Stillen ECU by Technosquare. Love this freaking fast/quick and serious ride. Sounds so sweet.

So, this afternoon leaving work, I video-recorded me leaving an onramp onto an LA freeway. It's a little poor quality, cheesy video, I know, driving one hand, merging and avoid traffic, signaling, while holding my little digital camera.

Just listen to the sweet sounds of Stage 4. Freaking awesome! Enjoy

Not recommended: It's unsafe, I just barely stepped on it and slowed down right away due to traffic ahead.....I know, save it for the track.

Everyday normal driving, I don't hear the belt whines. Only when I step on it and stay on it hard - such as in the video clip! Otherwise, it sounds stock.
I'm sure it's very quick and a sweet ride, but SC's sound like a wining cat

I thought that you can't reprogram the piggy back from Stillen. Maybe they just say that so that you won't or it voided "their" warranty. Thats what they told me when i bought mine. Thats cool that you did. Did you feel a difference when you had it reprogramed? How many lbs of boost are you getting?

Thanks for the cool comments.

It's a stage 4 with smaller pulley - 9 psi. - intercooler and everything else.

I have not change the internals yet. I plan to upgrade the cams, rods, pistons later this year for more power and reliability.

Currently I have popcharger intake, DC ceramic headers, hi-flow cat, borla exhaust.

Technosquare said they could not rereflash my ECU again since I now have the stillen piggyback chip - therefore, they did an "L-spec" (?) reprograming the stillen one to get better F/A combination. The acceleration is amazing from 0-60-100 smooth all the way. I'll test more on the track.....and more videos. As you can see on the video it climbed up to 100 from an on ramp red light (I was very mild on the gas because of traffic ahead and changing lanes).

In the photo album, the black Ford GT - track edition - belongs to a friend - what a freaking rocket to ride in - OMG! He has two of them, the other one is in Hawaii and his daily driver is a Lotus Elise - he kept telling me to come with him to Laguna Seca....maybe one day.

For the record it's not the belt that's making the whining sound, it's the supercharger itself.

Most of you guys have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to superchargers so I suggest you read this then post: http://auto.howstuffworks.com/superc....htm/printable

P.S. Get working on a new video with some WOT pulls on an empty street!
