Love to get some feedback on the SFR built 5AT tranny... I've got a built motor and 700BB turbos going in but will be stuck at low boost until I can figure out a good solution for the tranny...

I should be getting dynoed tomorrow. It'll be a low boost(wastegate only) motor breakin tune but, i'll definitely let you know how it goes. Supposedly SFR has worked the trans so it has less drivetrain loss than the stock Auto. This was according to my installer and i'm hoping it's true. Check the FI forums soon.

I'm positive you got your G back. What took so long and are you in the clear now? Power and how is the tranny holding?

 

 

Got a base tune on it. I'm only at 5 lbs right now but, its still pretty fun. The trans is okay so far. I don't want to review it yet as I haven't even begun to stretch it's legs. I still have to hook up the meth kit, trans cooler and the intercooler sprayer. I'm also going to move the intakes on top of the intercooler and swap the SSV out. Thats pretty much what i'm waiting on. Hopefully it'll be done real soon guys. Sorry about the delay.

Whats up fella's. Still not quite done. It's just been a disappointing experience overall and I haven't stayed on top of it. I have a manifold to turbo exhaust leak so the motor is gonna come down and EVERYTHING is going to be fixed properly. I'll take it to AAM and have the final tune done on it. I'm going to give an honest review of AAM after it's all said and done. Clint's up there now so hopefully I wont have any trouble with some of the issues I have particularly the exhaust that is complete crap. I'm shooting to have it done by the College Park meet. I can tell you though that on the base 5.5lb map it seemed really really quick. Sorry btw I don't subscribe to the threads I post in or start so thats why I didn't respond right away.

Thanks for interest and I can wait to post up when everything is done and meet some people off the boards.
