Coming Soon 3.9L + 5AT + TT + Zex

John got my turbos back from turbochargers.com and the install is currently underway. I have some pics that I wanted to share. The car will be running an AEBS block with 100mm bore, JWT S1 cams, ported heads with 1mm oversized valves, SFR built trans, Greddy kit w/ td06-60-1's, and a small shot of N2O. This will be held together via an FCON Vpro. I'm super excited about the whole project and I can't wait to post some hp numbers and track times. Enjoy.

Looks like its going to be a kick A$$ project when its done. How do you change the amount of liters in a car? How do you change it from a 3.5 to 3.9 L..? Do you have a whole enw engine or what? Still a little noob when it comes to that stuff.

That's typically how Nissan increases power, by stroking the displacement out rather than designing a new engine. I'm pretty sure that's what they did with the 3.0 L...they stroked it out to 3.5L.

You can either increase the bore and use larger pistons or you can increase the stroke of the crankshaft. For this, the bore has been increased to provide the additional displacement. The block itself is a AEBS sleeved and o-ringed block.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys. This G will definitely be going 10's. I'd love to go further but, I want to see how well everything goes before I really push it. I'll be updating this as soon as it gets closer to finished. All components are now with the installer so, its just a matter of time. Thanks to everyone again for all the kind words.

I assume around 4.5mm because its 100mm bore vs the stock 95.5mm bore. Thanks. Can't wait to do the G community proud.
