The FMU is fine but it's a risk I dont want to take or think about when I'm at WOT if it's going to take a dump.
When have you ever heard of a JWT FMU taking a dump. I know the 350z people love the fuel return, but they have been proven wrong and time again. Frankly, I would only do injectors when they are really necessary for the tune and other crap I plan to run. Too many people run big 600cc injectors that are far too large and have to compensate for them with the use of a utech or F-Con. To me and a number of other tuners and other guys I have been consuling beleive this to be a horrible waste of money, and is completely economically inefficient.

I definiely agree wih he bigger fuel pump, but you shouldn't ever need a dual one. Once again, seems like a waste to me.

For me, a blown motor is an excuse to build my motor anyways. There is really no way to safely boost the VQ on a stock motor.

but i digress. back on topic.

I rather shell out a few hundred dollars now to replace the FMU (and it will overtime) than a few thousand any day for a rebuild (cost me over 9K for built motor + labor).

Also running dual pump is optional if u happen to pick the wrong size of injectors. I was like SD before thinking it would be a waste getting larger size injectors when u dont really need it but after awhile everyone wants more HP so bigger is always better (saves money in the long run).

At first, I thought running RC 440cc with return line and walbro was enough to push MAX 450whp but it still wasn't enough fuel to push 400whp on a DD dyno. Lucky I still had my aux pump (vortech kit) so I was able to save money by not needing to replace bigger injectors. Fast forward to now, I wish I had gone at least 650cc bc I'm itching for +450whp on my vortech and now I got to pay for bigger injectors, tune, and labor. So don't learn from my mistakes. Pay a little now or u're going to pay a lot more later on.

2 tranny coolers would be a lawlfest- dont do that.

I run a 3300 stall and a vb upgrade and i've had 00000000000000 problems.

Upgrading the tranny is definitely the way to go- I love it!!!!!!!!

you run an upgraded torque converter? That is horribly unnecesary unless you are drag racing. The tranny coolers are actually the best thing to do besides a vb upgrade.

The stock injectors have been proven to produce up to 440 whp. I don't know all of your mods or who is tuning your car, but 440 should be enough enough for all power goals with a vortech. Turbo is another story since most will end up building their motor and going for more hp.
