Im looking to get one in the next few months, been doing some research but there isnt too too much out on the greddy kits in terms of issues etc.

I was going to go through 350z but i figure id stick here

but naw if you guys could just give me a general idea of what I should be looking out for in regards to potential problems thatd be great!!

thanks in advance guys!!!

it is a great kit!!!

I did have my power steering line rub against the pass side turbo, and it made a pinhole leak in the PS hard line. I should have seen it when I installed it, but I didn't. I had the line repaired (welded) and then I bent it out of the way.

What kind of "problems" are you looking for?

It's a great kit and 99% of problems are due to an improper install or a bad tune. Only issue I've heard of is the oil feed lines to the turbos cracking, which can be avoided by replacing them during the install.

O, and ditch the Emanage for a better EMU

turbo's cracking? How does this happen? feed lines and other minor problems like that are due to improper heat sheilding.

#1 problem is the EM. Ditch the emanage for a UTEC or better.

Also add a blow off valve (or three LOL), make sure and have a good installer do it and tune it.

I have four months on mine and have been very happy.

Why does everybody hate Greddy's E-Manage? I've heard it is crap by a few but didn't catch their reasoning or ask for it.

After countless hours of research I have found that lots of people have blown their motor with the blue emanage. The ultimate is better but still not as good as the UTEC, Fcon or AEM.

Without going into details (since it has been covered many times before) it is just not a safe solution. It works ok with the standard wastegate spring (5.5psi) but still not the right way.

Like any turbo kit you might run into small oil leaks, etc. Nothing with just the Greddy and not the others. I say go for it.
