Everyone of these guys is starting to get real arrogant. He does this, it makes HIM happy, he lives a HAPPY life...what more can you ask for? YOU buy a house, YOU save your money, YOU do what YOU want to do and live your own life. Trying to project your views and beliefs on him and talking down to him like he's making a mistake is absurd.

Yes modding HIS car can and probably will make him happy but there's more ways than just taking out an interest loan to pay for it. If he has the income, opening up a 0% APR credit card with a $5-10k balance would be cake. Last I checked, most vendors accept credit just as openly as cash. I think we're all here to give this guy positive advice from another point of view and if he chooses to take it or not, it's up to him. Some people just aren't aware of their options and only focus on their predetermined one.

lol ... so you can't handle the hard work, pride, dedication, and years of work put into a hobbie to get them to that point of sponsorships? Those of you who hate car shows seem to be doing it for all the wrong reasons. I don't do car shows to beat out the rest of the guys. It's all about having fun, enjoying friendships made, enjoying the build up of your car, making it unique, talking to other owners, and inspiring people to enjoy the passion of modding cars. I go talk to most all G owners I see at shows, talk about current mods, future mods, and wish them good luck. If they win, I give them respect. Winning AND losing with class and dignity is what sportsmanship is about.

Fuc a sponsorship.. always a catch 22 to it anyway, I do take pride in my hard work i do when my car gets something new done to it, but these cars shows now adays are not what they where back in like 99 or early 2000 when it 1st started out you seen more "Hard worked" cars then what you have now with cars mainly built for shows thru sponsorships or companies that have 1million plus to throw around.

I'm more into the performance scene now and track feel, and prob will go to a show but will not enter any.

also i am sponsored, just a partial sponsorship though, which means i have to pay for my ****! lol.

also all of those shops might have the money, but they rarely have the info or anything like that to make a car flow well.
