Going FI
Going FI
Next week i will be purchasing an APS TT tuner kit. This kit doesn't come with the fuel management.
So, can anyone tell me how much can i push this on a stock block, without damaging anything? And also, how much hp should i expect?
I'm planning on racing some dude with a 07 Dodge Charger RT10 with a 5,7 380bhp engine. Do i stand any chances?
I'm open to suggestions.

If you are going with a stock block I would get the full APS kit. The Tuner kit is more for people wanting to push a bit more out of it with larger injectors a complete fuel return kit, UTEC (or better), etc.
With a good EM you can go to 400whp/400wtq with no problems. An ultra safe tune is ~380ish.
As for the race, you will beat him no problem. I have a Greddy TT 405/399 and the last time I was at the drags I raced a 300C SRT (~420hp) and beat him by over half a second with a bad launch spinning through 1st and 2nd. Those LX platform cars are heavy.

And how much would that be extra?

the whole point of buying a tuner kit is so you can purchase your own EMU and fuel components, not so you can save money on the kit.
Fuel Return = 1k
Walbro = ~$120
Injectors = ~$500
Utec = ~$900
You should call a shop that's experienced with adding FI to the VQ.

+1
If your goal is to do the kit on your stock block and cash is tight go with the complete APS kit that comes with injectors, a partial return kit and the Unichip. You still need to add the fuel pump.

I also have AAA though because I save %15 on Auto Insurance.

I've used it more than a couple times, LOL.
