Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that our main concern here is to make a fast and reliable G.
So what about Nitrous? How safe and reliable is that. And what is the gain with it?

This might shock some people but IMO a TT with low boost and a super safe tune is my pick.
My Greddy w/UTEC made 350+whp on 5psi. My stillen at 8.5psi didn't make that. I would rather have left it at lower boost and more power.

+1 True if people can swallow the price
Stillen's warranty is only for the block with no labor if i'm not mistaken and only for stage 2 kit. You can buy a block for less than a 1000 if you look hard enough so you might as well build. Cost wise Stillen is very expensive with very limited power potential (You're lucky to see 350whp plus with it). For daily driving you can't beat the price of Vortech and it's potential but I like the feel of Turbo.
+1...
I think you'll find that every type of FI kit has blown a VQ or two. If you go turbo or centrifugal s/c, just make sure you get a good tune. Regardless, make sure the install goes well too. Short of a build, those are your best bets.

Right on the money.
All you can do is get a good management like UTEC and a safe tune. Stay ~8psi or less on the stock block and it should be as safe as it can be.
I have a friend who blew his motor with the Stillen. He tried to do the warranty and they denied his claim. I had a stillen stages 2, 3 and 4 with great luck. I'm not bashing the kit but I would not buy the warranty unless Stillen themselves did the install...

Negative.... I had a UTEC. No one in the PA area wanted to touch the car.

Anything other than stock is not reliable. That's why when people consider going FI they should consider always preparing for the worst. You can't expect every/any forced inducted car to always be reliable because it's not what came from the factory. Basically if it's installed with human hands then it's not always going to be reliable. There will be issues.. some don't have any because they went the whole nine yards with install, product choice, etc., and not having to worry much about the hole in their pocket afterwards. If you want to go FI then you can't expect to pay nothing less than what quality can get you. The term, "You pay for what you get," is very true especially when it comes to the longevity of your motor/car. Don't half "butt" it man. Find a reliable "tuner" and you should be good to go. So long that you don't mess with the tuning on your own, you should be fine.
