Safest, most economical FI
God, that's the last thing I want...to blow the 5k motor with a 5k supercharger. Maybe when she's paid off...It would not be fun to have that payment..unless I could pull the charger and take it to the dealer to fix...lol
...has anyone done that?

If you are struggling to pay for any form of FI I would strongly recomend not going FI at all. Things happen, things brake, if you can't afford it up front don't even bother with it. The last thing you want is a high car payment, a broke car, and $7500 in aftermarket parts that won't move....

Stillen no doubt. But power will be limited, ofcourse.
If you want an economical kit thats realiable and reletively safe on the stock block, look into a Vortech.
Everything comes down to the tune though.

Don't mention the Stillen word to the 350z crowd. They say its not the most reliable. Vortech's are. See this link:

I'm leaning towards the Vortech. I would do the Stillen, but I HATE the hood designs. The Vortech is an install that I can do myself and take it to a tuner after the work is done. They want 100/hour for labor?! F that!!
Turbo -Greddy/JWT
-no engine HP loss/power is usually higher/no special hood
--EXPENSIVE/difficult to install/some inherent lag/heat issues
I have absolutely no turbo lag with the greddy,s but that could also be that i am a auto.

Did anyone ever answer if they tap the oil pan, or the block? I apologize if i missed the answer somewhere.

The stang guys would tap the oil pan. So I would assume it would be the same on the G.
