OEM Bumper with intercooler and mesh removed?

Hello, I am going FI (APS TT) within the next few weeks, and I was just curious if anyone one here had a coupe with the OEM bumper and intercooler but with the bottom 2 mesh inserts cut out... hopefully you can picture what I mean. I have the custom automesh ordered to replace the OEM plastic mesh but I am just curious. Photoshop anyone?

Thanks!

Do you have the pix of the mesh? I have stock coupe bumper but thinking of replacing or removing the mesh. I'm also thinking of just having a friend of mine do a custom cut on the OEM bumper and open up the middle, this is cheaper than actually buying a bumper/prep/paint. to many option but out of $$$

Unless you have the JWT dual intercooler setup, our stock bumper kinda sucks for a FMIC. As much as I didn't want to change my front bumper, I am going with the Top Secret front bumper.

I have always been curious how big the Vortech Stock IC. Can you post some shot with the Stock Bumper? My Current IC is just a 24" (Not the Core) from side to side and you can barely see it so I'm upgrading to a bigger one. I'm a little embarrassed to get a new bumper with a tiny little Intercooler in there

Everyone that saw my car are all amazed how small my intercooler is but I keep telling them that I have a Rear-Mount Turbo so the tubing alone act like an intercooler, but I'm getting tired explaining so I might as well upgrade Plus my IAT is around 41-47C Deg on a 75F weather.

Should go with the JWT kit if you want to keep the stock bumper.

Can you keep the stock bumper on a Vortech? Or is a change a must?

The ONLY bumper I would ever consider is the Nismo front bumper, which is very much like OEM.

I just love my sport bumper too much.

Check our www.speedforceracing.com they make a nice dual intercooler set up that fits right behind the grills on the G.

Yeah, you can. It works fine but I just prefer to get as much air to the FMIC as possible so I am going with the TS bumper.

SFR's dual intercooler setup looks really nice! I wonder how it compares in flow/price to the JWT unit. I love my sport bumper too, and would rather not change it out (just like the other guys).

anyone here ever modify the stock bumper for the FMIC? i have access to an additional stock front bumper and am thinking about just modifying the stock bumper to let more air flow to my front mount intercooler. anyone seen anything like that?
