vortech kit question

im planning on purchasing the vortech kit soon just need a couple more paychecks, but before i install the kit will i need to buy a aftermarket front bumper, right now i have my stock front bumper with the stillen lip kit, will the vortech intercooler fit with my stock bumper or do i need a new one?

alright, thanks alot im all new to this infiniti/nissan stuff im crossing over from honda/acura lol and what a good crossover it was

Exactly. The stock one works fine but you might wanna consider buying a bumper with a big mouth for the FMIC. For instance, I have the Top Secret front bumper and lazee has the Kuruma Z front bumper. Both work and look well. There are a few others also.

ya im really liking the top secret, greddy, and the kenstyle will the kenstyle work too?

yes the kenstlye will work. He was just giving you a few examples.

The stock bumper works fine, but it's not optimum. My car is in the shop right now getting the Kuruma bumper fitted and painted.

nice nice, how are u guys with the vortech liking it, did it satisfy your power wants or leave u wanting to go bigger with a turbo?

i have the stock bumper and airflow isnt that big of an issue. I log my IAT and they dont seem to have any problem

I'm considering the Vortech also. I like the fact that you don't have to modify the hood or the front bumper. I'm in the midst of researching quite a bit, but was wondering what the typical gains are in HP and TQ and how the Vortech compares to the other products out there. Having not browsed this forum before, I have a lot of reading to do. Are there many used kits offered for sale on here?
