Back to the Zeitronix, I have the UTEC tuner and it is always within 0.2 of my Zeitronix. I think it is a great unit for the price. It was up in my sunglasses holder but up there is too hard to see when driving so I moved it over where baileyrx has his.

I still want to make something like Sundeviljay has above. That is still the best look IMO.

I had this one made up. It's not what you are after if you want them hidden, but I have Autometer Nexus gauges and they turn red if any gauge goes into the danger zone. It will immediately catch my attention even if I'm not closely monitoring them. (A/F Left, A/F right, Boost/Vac, Oil pressure, Trans Temp)
Sorry about the glare - I didn't notice.

The white is just sandable primer; I'll probably paint it silver in hopes of matching the aluminum trim. Hopefully I'll be done early next month and post something in the DIY.

That is very clean. I wanted to do something like that but am not willing to give up where I keep my sunglasses and glasses.

Actually, the lid still works. I am running Defi BF gauges, so I keep the control unit in there, but if you ran other gauges or put the controller some place else, the storage space would still be usable. Even with the controller, I can still fit my iPod in there, and I have one of the old-school big white 20gig jobs.

Does it just open part way? I have a big sunglass case that I keep in mine.

I would love to have that setup right there!

I wonder if you could do it with the guages mounted with the lid in the open position, and close it to look stock...

after buyin the Sep 07 issue of Import tuner with the RED HOT rx7 on the cover.. I noticed a nice 350z with a nice spot to put the guages.. I'm gonna steal that idea.
