Humming noise

Need some help, guys. I recently started noticing a humming noise coming from the driver side, beneath the engine. At idle, when I rev the engine, it gets louder with rpms. When driving coming from a stop, I can hear the noise get louder, but engine noise and the supercharger drowns it out. I'm thinking its the Vortech in line pump, but I could be wrong. The car runs fine and my AFR are dead on. It sounds like a loud humming or whirring type sound. How would you know if your fuel pump was going out? Any suggestions?

Well, I just got back from the garage and confirmed that it is not a problem with the fuel pump. The noise is coming from the driver side behind the instrument panel. The window washer fluid pump is near there, but also all the AC components. Whatever it is, it seems to be related to engine speed. Maybe it's a bad ground on the window washer fluid pump.

No headers. I have a Crawford plenum that's been on for almost 3 years, so I don't think it'll start leaking all of the sudden. The thing is that the sound is coming from the driver side engine bay or around the instrument panel. I can't hear it when I rev with the hood up. I only hear it with the down.

That Noise

Hi,

I think my 05 Coupe does something similar. At idle when in the drivers seat I here it I can't here it out of the car or under the hood.
It seems worse when the engine is up to temperature.

Did you find the cause?

Regards

I have an 04', fully stock, it started making that same noise at around 69k miles and it sounds like its coming from the rear of the car on the driver side, not so loud at idle but as revs increase at times you can hear it. I'm guessing fuel pump....any ideas on this?
